Not Just Closets has a history of excellent service to the greater Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and East Mountain areas for over 20 years. Our systems are custom-designed to meet your needs and your budget. After Earl and Judy Robinson acquired the business on January 1, 2011 they have endeavored to uphold the high standards of quality product, timely turn-around, and workmanship Not Just Closets is known for.

Earl & Judy Robinson

Earl and Judy moved to Tijeras, New Mexico from Duncannon, Pennsylvania in June 2004 and purchased the building in which Not Just Closets is housed. They live nearby in the East Mountains area of the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque. They enjoy traveling around the USA as well as other countries, visiting with friends, and being part of a vital, thriving community.

Earl has been a utility consultant for AUS Inc. out of New Jersey and Camp Hill, PA for over 40 years. He has an extensive background in woodworking, including having built his own house in PA in 1972-73. For many years he hand-crafted solid wood picture frames as a side-line business and more recently built a home workshop which includes a sewing studio for Judy and renovated the second floor of the Not Just Closets building to accommodate two office suites, one of which he uses for his consulting work as well as the Not Just Closets business.

NJC started the work when they said they would, and took the amount of time they said they would. The work was very professional, and we are quite pleased with the closets - enough so that we had NJC build cabinets for a butler's pantry. They listened to our requests, made changes in the design we asked for, and, all in all, we are very pleased with the work.

Earl and his team designed and built custom closets in two of our bedrooms.

This was a major conversion from the old traditional closets (removed) to new "cabinet" designs that had unique space and configuration requirements. Earl was very creative where our non-standard implementation was concerned. The design phase of the customization required multiple visits until we arrived at the final design. The recommended cabinet materials were very nice - and Earl's in-shop construction went very well. The on-site installation was smooth. Problem free. We also managed to the original project cost estimate. Working with Earl has been a pleasure. Our front entrance is on the South side of Hwy 333 (Old Hwy 66) 1/4 of a mile West of the Zuzax Exit (Exit 178) of I-40. Look for the square Not Just Closets sign and turn in. You are always welcome!
